Why I'm Stepping Away From Beauty Blogging
I love makeup; I really do. I love getting dressed up and going from drab to drag. I love buying new products and trying different looks, I used to love beauty blogging too, I really did.
As 2017 has gone on, I’ve lost all interest in writing about beauty products, despite reading so many other blogs looking for inspiration. Beauty blogging became an excuse for me to shop; to buy things I don’t need.
The thought of trying to find so many words to review a lipstick feel so stressed. I couldn't bring myself to do it anymore. I have so much respect and awe for beauty bloggers who post frequently; I honestly don’t know how they do it.
As I lost passion for beauty blogging, I felt like I was showcasing mediocrity trying to pass it of a decent content. If I was stuck for words, I tried to use better photos. If my photos were lame, I’d shove a filter on them and hope no one would notice. I can not write about something I have no passion about anymore.
As of today, Billiegeena.co.uk is going to be a Lifestyle and Food blog. THIS is what excites me.
