Liz Earle at John Lewis
I love a good pampering, who doesn't? Over the bank holiday weekend I was invited down to John Lewis in Sheffield City Centre, to learn about there beauty room and Liz Earle.
I'll be honest with you, I've never really used Liz Earle products before - I had heard of them because they are incredibly natural and I know a few people who like use their Cleanse & Polish range.
A group of bloggers were invited down, nice and early one Saturday morning, to kick start our Liz Earle learning. We were greeted by the lovely Jayne, who is the manager and she asked if anyone us would like to be the model for the demonstration. Me, being me, I had to volunteer, we were then led into the beauty room.
The beauty room was LOVELY. It felt like I left the busy shop floor and walked into a salon. The chairs were comfortable and the bed was divine. In no time at all I got wrapped up in some blankets and relaxed waiting for my facial.
Jayne explained to us what would normally happen in one of the treatment rooms, obviously it would be a one on one thing, normally you wouldn't have 6 bloggers staring at you all the through. I didn't mind it though, I like attention.
The beauty room service is completely free and you can book in at the Liz Earle Counter in certain John Lewis stores. They discuss your skin type and work out what would be the best regime for yourself. They also do Arm Massages and Indian Head Massages seperate to the facials.
I'll be honest, once I laid down it became difficult to stay awake, I was so relaxed. I explained that I get eczema on my face quite badly, but they caught me on one of my good days.
My make up was removed and we started off with the the Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, which smelt lovely and left my face feeling so smooth already. We then toned my skin with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic, we then exfoliated with the Gentle Face Exfoliator and used the Brightening Treatment Mask.
I left with the softest and smoothest skin, I felt amazing. I'd highly recommend booking in to anyone, and I'm slowly saving up to buy all of the products used.
